Food SecurityWe support smallholder farmers to increase productivity, diversify crops, and improve food availability through climate-smart and locally appropriate practices. Key interventions include farmer training, soil health management, crop diversification, and post-harvest loss reduction.
Climate ResilienceBarwaaqo integrates climate resilience across all programs to address environmental risks to food systems. Our work promotes climate-smart agriculture, water-efficient practices, sustainable land management, and community awareness on climate adaptation.
LivelihoodsFood security is inseparable from economic opportunity. Barwaaqo supports women and youth through skills development, agricultural entrepreneurship, income-generating activities, and improved market access, strengthening household incomes and inclusive local growth.
